Materials analysis of this “Plantation Plain” style, mid-19th century building on the Chattahoochee River was performed as a supplement to a Historic Structure Report. Original finishes, including pigmented limewashes and lime-based plasters, were documented as part of the project. Recommendations were also provided for an appropriate restoration finishes scheme and plaster repairs.
