The Abyssinian Meeting House is the third oldest standing African American church in the United States. It was the "hub" of the Underground Railroad in Maine. The Committee to Restore the Abyssinian plans to restore the Meeting House as an African American historical site and museum. BCA is the historic preservation consultant for the restoration and is creating an Historic Structures Report for the property.
