Nathan Hale Homestead
Coventry, Connecticut

Nathan Hale, the Continental Army soldier, is widely considered America’s first spy. The original farmhouse where Nathan Hale was born was constructed in Coventry, Connecticut in 1746. This house was later demolished and a new structure was built on the site in 1776. BCA’s architectural analysis of the site formed the basis of an Historic Structure Report.
