Services: National Register Nominations

BCA is often hired to nominate nationally eligible properties to the National Register of Historic Places. This usually grows out of a larger scope of work or can be a discrete service that we provide.

In order to nominate a property, BCA conducts a site inspection, writes a narrative description, statement of significance, and bibliography based on archival research. A set of archival quality photographs is also produced as part of the nomination. BCA maintains communication with the State Historic Preservation Office to ensure a successful outcome.
